Our Story
Our timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
Stephanie was standing on the edge of a major life transition, preparing to move out of state for work, when Damyon came into her life. They met online, shared a short FaceTime call, and decided to take a leap of faith and meet in person. Meeting Stephanie in the fall of 2024 was, for Damyon, the best kind of surprise. After spending time in a dating scene that felt empty, he was looking for something real, and from the moment they met, she was exactly that.
First Date
Their first date in downtown San Jose felt like magic. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Damyon still laughs when he tells the story, teasing that Stephanie kept tilting her head and looking at him with so much admiration that it was obvious her heart had already chosen him. He’ll also admit that his lack of planning for that first date is still a favorite topic of teasing (lesson learned: always make a reservation), but Stephanie’s warmth and authenticity took over anyway. She also loves to remind him that he wanted to end the night with a kiss. Truth is, he already knew there was something special there.
From that night forward, everything felt effortless. Loving him felt effortless too, like their souls already recognized each other. Everything unfolded naturally, just as it was meant to. Though Damyon had never moved this quickly with anyone before, with Stephanie it didn’t feel like rushing, it felt right. Within a month, they were official, and she was meeting his family.
For Stephanie, this love carried a quiet certainty. At 37, Damyon became the first man she ever introduced to her family, a quiet but powerful testament to a love that arrived right on time: steady, intentional, and meant to last. Together, they balance and ground each other, bringing calm, clarity, and a sense of home neither knew they were missing.
